Okay, so you can "force stability on the Questing Beast with your keys". What the hell does that mean?

* Each round, you can focus on your key to accomplish one of two effects. Either you can stabilize the beast's wounds, preventing it from shifting them away, OR you can stabilize some aspect of its form and keep it constant for a round. This is mostly up to player creativity.

* Focusing this way takes enormous concentration; you can’t fight while you’re doing it (although you can talk and sort of vaguely get out of the way).

* If a round passes without someone stabilizing its wounds, it will shift them away. Only one person needs to focus on this, but it might be better to swap it around, because...

* The Beast can psychically try to force its wounds back on people who are trying to stabilize them. The more people focusing on that, the less damage each will take, and Darkness-protection items (such as Kiriko's friendship bracelets) will mitigate the effect somewhat.

* Likewise, the more people who focus on stabilizing the Beast's form, the larger the aspect you can hold constant. Keeping it from changing size is probably a multi-person job, for example, while making sure it keeps a limb it grows is something that a single person could accomplish. If you have a cool idea, go for it; these guidelines are pretty flexible.

* Of course, feel free to try any other strategies you have in mind! This is just so that the mechanics of the keys are clear; it’s not the only thing you can do in the fight.
